Today i want to express my opinion about handling the terrorism... or rather the terror attacks on city like Mumbai..
I think we should list down the objectives first ... the objectives of the operations to counter the terrorist attack ...
they can be ....
1) No body should get killed ... we do not want any killing .... neither any civillian, neither any military / NSG/ Police etc and definately neither any of the so called terrorists... we do not want any blood shed and It must be the topmost priority objective of such operation.
2) Terrorists should be caught and then can be treated as psycho patients in specially created cells where they are given confidence to live a healthy , peaceful life....life full of enjoyment and love... they should be made to earn their own bread and butter through their personal hard work or contribution ....and other similar ways ....once it is established that their confidence to handle life has come back ...which may take as long as 10 years ..... they should be then sent back to their place..if they wish so... during this period they should be allowed to contact their dear ones so that they can share their feelings and get some happy moments from the conversations,,...if possible video conferencing can also be allowed...
3) We should develope A special commando peacekeeping team... who will be trained to reach the terrorists and overpower them without killing or hurting them... and should also know how to take care of their own lives and lives of the civilians involved as hostages or other wise in such encounters.... they should wear full protection from head to toe and go to tackle them without arm and ammunition but only with small cylinders of gas which can make them unconsious for a period in which they can be overpowered and captured... we really do not want any violence...
4) We should demonstrate and then declare to the world that in case of any further terrorist attacks on us we will not kill anybody and the attack will be handled in the above manner only ....
I have been watching THE NEW PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA'S ELECTION CAMPAING closely and have a feeling that if such thoughts reach him ...he will understand the power of such actions and may take some steps in those directions... i have full confidence in his decision making capabilities and he is currently in position to take some good steps in making our mother earth and better place for all of us... by us i mean all that exists on the mother earth ... the living as well as non living matter....let me clarify more here ..... i mean by "us" ... the people of all nationalities, trees of all kinds, animals of all kinds...monuments , buildings, structures ,public and private proerty etc etc of all kind and all other things which are not covered by this...
We being the most intelligent and powerful living community here can no longer disown our resposibility towards our mother earth...

i agree with you, but with some addition i.e we need to go to the root reason why terro attacks. why do people want to kill themselves for other people aim.why are goverments not serious in figthing terrorism--are politicians involved--take a case of mosharaf in parkintan (ex president)was he really fighting terrorism or useing terro to make money. why should the US come to fight terro in pakinstan why cant the parkistani fight this terro and US provide the nessaccery conditions .
in your 3rd point you mentioned that violence should not be involved, i very well agree with you but the aim of terro is voilence--the terrorist believe that they are fighting for a just cause and if they are killed they would go to heaven--so they will shoot at sight thereby provoking the military.

most of this terrorist are whom they are becourse of poverty, as long as alquida and the likes pay a handsome reword to the berived families, it would be difficult to stop terrorism--and as long as our elected politician are involved indirectly it would be difficult--and as long as countries wants to sell thier arms it would be difficult---finally as long as the strong countries wants to dictate what happens in a week country, it would be difficult to stop terrorism.

Yes i do agree that we need to go to the root cause... but the moment we start giving our reaction by simply killing them... we are also becoming extremists aren't we????
The moment we start treating the terrorists differently the whole violence becomes one sided ie from their side which they can not sustain for long for very simple reason that there is no counter attack from us and once we are demonstrating love ...dont you think it has to be answered in the form of love only finally...even though not immediately...
I know i am sounding bit not practial but just sit back and think calmly what can be the ultimate solution to this violence...can it be another stronger violence or some thing more bigger than violence i.e. love...

I believe that you are right to some extent but then every terrorist or act of terrorism cant be moulded by these processes or love. There has to be a strong retaliation.. Also I would like to ask all of us a question, why are we waking up to the brutal reality of terrorism now?? Where were all the so called alert and patriotic citizens of this country when Delhi and Ahmedabad were burning. This apathetic attitude of people will not work in the future.. This really gives our politicians a free hand. Please think about cleaning this other terror of politics also.
